Choose an Air Experience Flight

Have you ever wanted to give gliding a try but were not sure if it's the right sport/hobby for you? Our Air Experience Flight is the right choice for you. 

Our Air Experience Flights over Bacchus Marsh, with views of Melbourne, the You Yangs and Port Phillip Bay. Gliding are the perfect mix of elegant flying, gentle exhilaration and friendly atmosphere which makes for an unforgettable experience.

After an introduction and safety briefing with your qualified flight instructor you will be towed to your release height of 3000 feet (2000 ft for Standard flight). Once the required height has been reached the instructor will release the glider from the tow aircraft and the wonderful experience of "silent flight" commences. You will be soaring on the thermals in the same way as birds do. In fact, with no engines to scare them away, don't be surprised if you are joined mid-flight by a local eagle!

At their discretion, your instructor may also allow you to have some "hands on" flying experience and teach you the basics of flying the glider.

We offer two gliding introductory flight experiences. Standard and Deluxe. The Standard flight will get you to 2000ft (AGL), the Deluxe flight goes to 3000ft (AGL) and is therefore a bit longer.
