Federation square gliding expo

The GFA has organised a display at Federation   square, leading into the world gliding championships being held in Benalla during January.  Enthusiastic members needed to talk to the public about gliding.

This is a great opportunity to promote, our club, and its proximity to Melbourne. If you would like to share you enthusiasm for gliding, and can spare some time on Friday 11th Nov. Please go to http://signup.com/go/GmrhLP and select the time slots and/or tasks that suit, feel free to select multiple tasks or time slots.

The promotion has been organised for the Friday as it is the best day to reach Melbournians, as the weekends predominantly see tourists. Last year saw a few hundred visitors, along with notable visits from the Lord Mayor, and a couple of celebrities.
