Bendigo gliding club

A weekend of flying with the Bendigo Gliding club, being north of the ranges the weather is generally better.

Members wishing to attend will need an independent operator endorsement, and have completed their GPC. NOTE: You will need to organise your own aircraft.

Bendigo Gliding club is located at Raywood, about 185km north of Melbourne via the Calder Fwy, and about 30km north of Bendigo.

Event Details:

• Dates: 26 - 27 March 2022
• Location: 123 Borough Rd, Raywood VIC 3570.
• Meet time: 1100.
  
• Launch: 1300.
• Aircraft: BYO, organise your own aircraft, club or private.
• Pilot ratings: GPC & Independent operator endorsement.
• Pilot experience: All levels, from GPC and up. Pilots without a GPC or independant operator can fly with pilots that have these ratings, you will need to organise an aircraft.
  
• Pilot competency: Competent in rigging & de-rigging gliders,
• Event type: Cross country & local soaring.
• Environment: Flatland flying.
• Launching: Tow..
• Site information: YRYW - Briefing notes.
• Costs: Tug $5.30/min, airfield usage $10 / day, camping $10 / night.
• Social activities: Sat. evening meal in Raywood hotel, or self cater.
• Accommodation: On site camping available.

Pilots are responsible for ensuring they meet GFA currency requirements.
