The Club will be holding its annual Easter Camp at Raywood, home of the Bendigo Gliding Club. Raywood is 185km north of Melbourne via the Calder Fwy, and about 30km north of Bendigo, being north of the ranges the site receives better weather.
We plan on taking a tug, and a number of gliders depending on attendance.
This is a good opportunity to get in some cross country flying. Depending on the weather, we plan to set daily tasks for group flying/mutual flights in the two seaters. There will also be a challenge task for the more competitive pilots to further develop your skills.
For those who don’t fly, there are the following attractions in Bendigo:
· Bendigo Mine.
· Golden Dragon Museum
· Bendigo walking tours.
· Art gallery and studios.
· And much more.
Meet time: 10:00am at the BGC club house for;
· Glider allocations
